When seeking a fun, educational outing for your children, and in fact, the entire family, be sure to keep the New Jersey Children's Museum in mind.

Located in Paramus at 599 Valley Health Plaza, the New Jersey Children's Museum continuously offers toddlers and preschoolers a terrific variety of interactive events and activities, such as a real fire truck and helicopter, hands-on exhibits, an exciting fossil and dinosaur cave, a kid-size medieval castle, a play ballet studio and tons of other great fun stuff! Kids can play hospital, examine a skeleton and combine learning with playtime.

Monthly events can range from Super Hero Pizza Parties, an awesome dinosaur exhibit...you can even book your child's birthday party or other special event party to be held here!

There's a pretend grocery store where your little ones can play cashier or consumer, using grocery carts, make-believe products and pretend money. There's also a TV Studio where they can be on camera and practice their news anchor or meteorologist skills - let that announcer or performer shine!  Check out the amazing Driving and Drawing area, where the steering wheel is used to create artwork! Your child will love being the waiter or chef at the Kids' Pizzeria, where YOU are their customer! They'll happily serve you pizza, broccoli and brussel sprouts - yum!

Kids can dress up like a doctor or nurse in the Play Hospital where they can also listen to their hearts with a stethoscope, climb aboard a kid-sized ambulance and be the driver, or activate the lights and siren! Movable Mike is the friendly skeleton whose arms and legs can be moved by ropes.

The Interactive Light Mosaic is like a gigantic Lite Brite where kids can make their art take on a real glow! All Aboard! Be sure to visit the Giant Train Set where things are always in motion - going through tunnels, climbing up and down mountains - and your child can blow the whistle, flash the lights and open the crossing gates!

Dress up in armor and be a brave knight, or wear the gown and crown of a beautiful princess in the Medieval Castle! Learn about the world though the fascinating Animal Senses exhibit! There are so many amazing, creative and fun things to do at the New Jersey Children's Museum that it's a place you and your kids are sure to want to visit again and again.
